Jesuit Missions London Marathon team celebrates after the race

London Marathon

Our 2018 Jesuit Missions London Marathon Team is now full!

See this year’s team here.

Jesuit Missions fields a team of runners in the London Marathon every year; this year’s will be held on April 22nd 2018.

Taking it that extra mile with our Wombles of Wimbledon…

Wombles on Wimbledon Common

Jesuit Missions Wombles are an iconic part of the London Marathon. Ever since creator Elizabeth Beresford gave the Jesuit Missions team permission to race dressed as Wombles, our runners have been braving the furry costumes to help raise money for people in need.

If you would like to take your marathon challenge to the next level (the current Womble course record stands at 3hrs30m) and become a celebrity on race day, let a member of our team know!

Support our team in 2018

Last year, your donations to the Jesuit Missions London Marathon team helped provide an education to people whose lives have been devastated by conflict and displacement in South Sudan.

We are working with Jesuit Refugee Service in Maban, South Sudan to offer quality education, counselling and training to children and adults from both refugee and host communities.
