Paul Chitnis, Director
Paul brings many years’ experience in senior management having been Chief Executive of SCIAF, the international development agency of the Catholic Church in Scotland. He has also worked for Christian Aid and HCPT. In 1981, he set up The Newman Holiday Trust to provide holidays for disabled children in the UK. Paul has travelled widely in Africa, Asia and Latin America where he has witnessed the work of Jesuits to serve the faith and promote justice.
Richard Greenwood, Outreach and Communications Manager
Richard joined Jesuit Missions as Assistant Director in 2011 having previously worked for Missio, Cafod and Age Concern. He is responsible for the fundraising, communications and outreach and is a member of the editorial board of Jesuits and Friends. Richard has extensive experience in fundraising and campaigning within the UK and also spent time working with the Salesians in Kenya.
Shannon Philip, International Programmes Officer
Shannon joined Jesuit Missions in May 2018 where he looks after the international programmes supported by Jesuit Missions in various countries of the global south. Prior to joining Jesuit Missions, Shannon completed his PhD research in international development at the University of Oxford. His long-term interest and passion for development issues have led him to travel, write and engage with various development initiatives within the charity sector.
Joelene Wilkie, Database Officer
Joelene joined Jesuit Missions in 2016, she is responsible for maintaining our database and supporting donors. With a degree in Social Work, Joelene has experience of working in executive support and team assistant roles in the government, commercial and charity sectors.
Stephanie Beech, Communications Officer
Stephanie joined Jesuit Missions in November 2017 to develop our website and social media and is responsible for all external and in house communications. She previously volunteered overseas teaching in India for a year and has spent time volunteering in Greece with refugees and Nicaragua visiting CAFOD partners. Her love for travelling and learning about other cultures came from studying Geography (Ba) at University.
Lynn McWilliams, Outreach Coordinator
Lynn joined Jesuit Missions as Outreach Coordinator in July 2018. She has spent 36 years in secondary education, teaching Religious Education and History. Early in her career she taught in the international sector, first in Rome, where she worked for the Congregation of Holy Cross, and then in Dublin. For 25 years she taught at St Aloysius’ College in Glasgow, where she served as Head of Religious Education and more recently as Director of Christian Formation. She has designed and taught courses in Ignatian Spirituality and Christian Social Justice. She coordinated the College’s Justice and Peace Society and helped to establish its Romero Centre.
Vincenzo Loggia, Finance Officer
Vincenzo joined Jesuit Missions as Finance Officer in July 2018 having previously held several Financial Controller roles in UK Divisions of large multinational companies. After 35 years of working in the commercial world he has decided to utilise his financial/ management skills and experience to assist and support the work of Jesuit Missions. He holds a BA in Social Studies with a major in Economics from the University East Anglia and is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA).
Nuala Doran, PA/Office Manager
Nuala joined Jesuit Missions in August 2019 as PA to the Director and Office Manager. Before working at Jesuit Missions she spent over 21 years working for the World’s Learning Company Pearson specialising in internal and external communications and event management. She ran her own events company and has also worked for a photo booth company managing their events.
