COP26 Growing Our Future Events
During the time of the COP26 Jesuit Missions will be present in Glasgow. Our staff will be delegates at the conference where we will be advocating climate justice for the poorest around the world.
However, you can take part too! Jesuit Missions will be involved in a number of events during the two week period of COP26.
COP 26 Pilgrimage from Edinburgh to Glasgow
26 pilgrims of all ages and from around the country will be taking part in the Growing Our Future Pilgrimage.
They will be departing from Sacred Heart Church, Edinburgh on 3 November and finishing at St Aloysius Church, Glasgow where they will proceed to the COP26 Coalition march.

Candlelit procession for COP26 in London
For those who cannot get to Glasgow, Jesuit Missions is supporting an initiative by the London Jesuit Centre and the Diocese of Westminster Justice and Peace Commission.
This candlelit procession will take place on Monday 1st November at 6.00 p.m., starting from outside Westminster Cathedral.

COP26 Coalition march pre event in Glasgow
Jesuit Missions will be joining thousands of people from all walks of life on the COP26 Coalition March on 6 November. Before this march you are invited to join us at St Aloysius Church where speakers Fr Damian Howard SJ, Fr Charles Chilufya SJ and Paul Chitnis will address an audience on the importance of COP26.
This event at 25 Rose St, Glasgow G3 6RE starts at 10:00 a.m. Participants will then join the Faith and Belief block of the march at Kelvingrove Park which will finish with a rally at Glasgow Green.
