Supporting Fe y Alegria in the DRC
Jesuit Missions supports Fe y Alegria in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) improving the quality of education across primary schools reaching out to students and teachers.
Fe y Alegria is an International movement of popular education and social promotion based on the values of justice participation, fraternity, respect for diversity and solidarity, working with impoverished and excluded populations. It operates in 22 countries across the world including three in Africa. Their vision is of a world where all people have the opportunity to receive an education, fully develop their abilities and live with dignity.
Jesuit Missions supports Fe y Alegria through being a member of the Xavier Network, an international mission and development partnership between Jesuit organisations working in faith to promote justice.
