Jesuit Missions will once again be leading a ‘Journey of Hope’ in London, where we will hear from Jesuits and members of the JM team about the need to take action to protect our planet.
On Thursday 25th September, we will visit a series of sites linked to environmental damage and talk about the particularly harmful impact this has on our partners and the countries they live and work in.
We’ll also discuss the call from several organisations – including Jesuit Missions – to cancel unjustifiable debts faced by poorer nations. These debts mean such places cannot appropriately tackle key issues, such as the impact of climate change, as they are bound by crippling repayments.
To find out more information and details on how to join the walk, contact Richard Solly, Advocacy & Campaigns Officer at Jesuit Missions, at richard@jesuitmissions.org.uk or on 020 8946 0466.
